Carolina Hurricanes @ New Jersey Devils

The hockey world got to see a side of Martin Brodeur that no one usually sees. He was livid as he allowed the game winning goal with 0.2 seconds on the clock, he was livid because of a bump he recieved from Carolina’s Jussi Jokinen and we feel he was totally right. Brodeur has been getting knocked around all series and it finally came to a head last game.

Brodeur is the best goalie in the game and there is no doubt he will prove it again tonight. Look for him to be on his game tonight and in the playoffs a great goalie can mean all the difference.

The Devils also happen to be a great team and an even better team at home. New Jersey is 14-3 SU in its last 17 games at home and coming home after a tough loss will be very comforting for them and we are sure they will be great as well put a great team and a great goalie together and how do you lose.

We got ‘em last night with the Sharks in a tough battle as the Sharks have fought their way back into that series. We are going to stay on the ice tonight where we have been hot and have another solid play for you.

Chicago Blackhawks @ Calgary Flames

The last image of Calgary’s Game 3 win was a violent one. In the closing moments, Chicago’s Adam Burish’s stick on Rene Bourques’ shoulder and an irate Jarome Iginla wanting a piece of Burish in the ensuing melee in front of the Blackhawks’ bench.

Well the Flames came out of that game with a much needed win and we expect that this little blow-up at the end of the game will only favor the Flames and their home town fans. They ignited a fire under Jarome Iginla and we don’t think that is something you want to do to a guy with so much talent and so much grit. Expect him to come out flying around and throwing his body at anything that moves.

San Jose Sharks @ Anahiem Ducks

After dropping the first two games of this series at home we expect to see a desperate team out there in the Sharks and this is exactly what they should be. The Sharks were not the best team in the league for nothing. They played a couple of games that were flat but we do not expect that tonight as they have something to prove. Their #1 ranking.

The Sharks realize another loss would all but seal their biggest postseason collapse ever, but they still claim to believe their superior process finally will yield results — even if it’s down to its last few chances. The Sharks have had some good oppurtunities in the first two games but did not cash in. We believe that Joe Thornton and Jonathan Cheechoo will be able to finish a couple tonight.

The road team has won the last 5 contest between these two opponents. That shows you that the home ice advantage means nothing when these two get together. We believe that San Jose is definately a better team and they will go out on the ice tonight and prove it.

The Sharks were 3rd in the league in shots on goal per game this season averaging 33.2 and were also the toughest team in the league to get shots against averaging just 27 shots against. The Sharks also had the 3rd best powerplay this season and as we all know special teams mean a lot especially in the playoffs. We look for that to also get going tonight as the Ducks average giving up 4.7 powerplays per game.

Well, we are back to our free play after a couple of days hiatus getting our customers ready for the NBA and NHL playoffs. Exciting time of year when a lot of stupid money comes into the gambling world. All the better for us and our clients to scoop it up. We have a nice opportunity to do that tonight.

Dallas Mavericks @ San Antonio Spurs

After the Game 1 beating that the Mavs gave the Spurs the other night we have many bettors expecting a big bounce back game pushing up an inflated line between two teams that often play tight games. Better for us!

The Mavericks were on a nice run to end the regular season winning 5 of 6 and seem to have that momentum still going with their strong effort on Saturday. The Mavs would have blown out the Spurs if it wasn’t for some very strong outside shooting keeping the Spurs in the game.

With Manu Ginobili out with a stress fracture and Tim Duncan hampered with a knee injury the Spurs are not able to get anything going in the paint and will have to try to rely on that outside shooting again. That kind of outside performance can not be repeated. they are just not the same team and honestly not that good of a team with those two out.The matchups now are even more in favor of the Mavericks.

Well we were able to put another Starting Pitcher on the disabled list. So far that is two for the season. We played Chris Carpenter and he goes down with a rib muscle injury. We also got Cole Hamels to the DL with a bad elbow. Early season bad luck. Here is hoping we don’t do that again today.

Philadelphia Phillies @ Washington Nationals

Yesterday’s game was a rain out so we get some good baseball tonight. Well not good but a good opportunity to make some money. We have the pitiful winless Nationals against the defending World Series Champ Phillies. And somehow we get a decent price on the game.

The Phillies are getting hot and have dominated the Nationals since their inception. Joe Blanton takes the hill tonight against rookie Shairon Martis. Blanton has come into his own as a very good pitcher while Martis still has yet to prove he belongs in the major leagues.

Chris Carpenter will seek to follow up an outstanding debut to his 2009 season as the Cards try to push their winning streak to six games on Tuesday night when they continue their three-game series against the Diamondbacks who are off to a weak 2-5 start this season.

Carpenter pitched outstanding in his first start of the season allowing just 1 hit and 2 walks over 7 innings while striking out 7 ang getting first win in which we expect to be many this season. Carpenter also seems to pitch well in warmer weather and being in Arizona will supply exactly that advantage to him. The Boston Red Sox have to get it going tonight as they take on the Athletics. After starting the season by losing series against their two playoff opponents last season, the Boston Red Sox are hoping a seemingly softer stretch of their schedule will help them get on track.

The Sox dropped their first series of the season against the American League Champion Tampa Bay Rays then traveled to play a very emotional series with the Angels in Anahiem. This should be a good spot for them to get it going.

Hello all. Well world series stud Cole Hamels definitely didn’t start this season like he ended last season. 7 earned runs in 3 innings! Ugh! This is shaping up to be an interesting year so far.

Tampa Bay Rays @ Baltimore Orioles

We scour the MLB lines everyday for value and I think we found some here today. The Rays were great team last year and still do not get any respect as they are underdogs here to the Orioles.

The Tampa bats have looked pretty good so far this year with their young hitters keeping up the hot pace they set for themselves last year. They should be able to get to Orioles (overrated) starter Jeremy Guthrie and post some runs.

The Orioles are getting too much value here after winning a series against the high spending Yankees, who never seem to start the year off too good anymore.

The Orioles beat the Rays testerday 5-4 so there will be even more effort by the Rays today as revenge sets in. This also helps us get a better price.

The World Series Champion Philies travel into Colorado to do battle with the Rockies in this one and we get our first look of the season at pitching stud Cole Hamels. Hamels led Philadelphia to its first championship since 1980 by going 4-0 with a 1.80 ERA in five postseason starts, getting named MVP of the World Series and NL championship series.

The Phils offense after a slow start in the first 2 games of the season finally got it going the other night as they put up 12 runs against NL East rival the Atlanta Braves. We look for more production like that in the thin air of Colorado and put a guy like Hamels on the hill for you and I think you get the conclusion.

First off, we would like to offer our condolences to the friends and family of Los Angeles Angels Pitcher Nick Adenhart. He pitched a great game last night, only the 4th professional start of his career and was in a fatal car accident late last night. God bless and rest in peace Nick.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Chicago Bulls

We approach the end of the NBA season as teams are still struggling for position in the playoffs. Lets take a look at two of those teams playing each other in the Atlantic conference. Both teams have been playing pretty good on the stretch run and we expect a close game.

Philadelphia is 4-1 in their last 5 while Chicago is 2-3. The Sixers are fighting to get the 5th seed in the playoffs for the opportunity to play the Atlanta Hawks in the 1st round who they have had great success against this season. The Sixers are getting too many points here tonight and have been 6-1 in their last 7 as an underdog.

The Bulls are a Jeckyl and Hyde team this year and we don’t feel this is a good time of year for them. Chicago had a win against lowly New York tuesday but playing against the running style of the Knicks has taken its toll on teams in their next game. The Bulls should not be favored by 7 vs. any team this season. The Bulls are 11-24 ATS in their last 35 vs. the NBA Atlantic division.

When we look at these two teams playing eachother we get some more good trends. The road team is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings, underdog is 7-1 and the Sixers are 4-1 in the last 5 meeting in Chicago.

We will follow the trends and go with the surging 76ers in this one.
